Many years after leaving the military, I missed the brotherhood. Eventually, I found it again in a group of men in a Bible study.
Talking to other men about our failures and shortcomings—but also the wins we had during the past week—was what I had been missing with brothers in arms.
I'm five years into my beard-growing journey, and over the years I've used many different brands of beard-care products. Some really good and some not so much.
